Sources: 36ers swoop for Kuol in busy start to NBL Free Agency
The first day of the 2026 NBL Free Agency period opened with a bang, and no team made more early noise than the Adelaide 36ers.
www.espn.comThe latest news is that the Adelaide 36ers have confirmed signing Bul Kuol on a two-year contract for the NBL27 season. He’s joining after winning a championship with Sydney, and Adelaide says he brings defense, versatility, and leadership to the roster.[1]
Kuol gives Adelaide another strong wing defender and perimeter shooter, and the club is clearly building around a deeper, more physical roster. He’s listed by Adelaide alongside Bryce Cotton, Zylan Cheatham, Flynn Cameron, Isaac Humphries, Nick Rakocevic, Isaac White, and Ben Griscti as part of the current contracted group.[1]
Kuol has played 133 NBL games across Cairns and Sydney, averaging 9.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. He won NBL Rookie of the Year in 2022 and has built a reputation as one of the league’s toughest defensive wings.[1]
