BYD has halted production of its cheapest electric car after low demand pushed the move. Even with its affordability, sales kept very low all year, so the firm pulled the plug. As of now, no plan has been announced to replace it yet.
The company then showed eight fresh models at the motor show. The line-up featured a small city runabout to larger SUVs and crossovers. Visitors and reporters in the UK turned out in big numbers to see the new cars on display.
