OpenAI today released its GPT-5.6 on July 9, 2026.

OpenAI also integrated Codex into its desktop application, now titled ChatGPT Work, and included the new model inside.
Sea announced a collaboration to host a regional coding hackathon in Singapore in August.
The event will focus on students, young startups and developers looking to evaluate the new tools.
