Users worldwide report problems with Instagram such as access issues and timed-out content. Downdetector data shows a sudden rise in outage reports matching these issues. Both the app and website appear non-functional at once. Meta has yet to release a statement about this outage as of 22 July 2026. Reports matching have been noted across Facebook, Messenger and Instagram at the same time.
