Latest News About Iran keeps Strait of Hormuz closed as talks continue

Iran states that the Strait of Hormuz stays closed to maritime ships. The waterway is completely shut. Iran and Oman are currently drafting a deal for a safe transit route. Oman called the talks positive. At the same time, the United States is pausing extra penalties related to the conflict.

Iran also issued a blacklist for oil tankers in Gulf waters. This list adds new dangers for moving crude across the region. Moving oil remains risky now. Iran and Oman keep talking about ship paths. Even so, Iran insists that the Strait stays closed.
