A beluga whale was transferred from Marineland in Niagara Falls, Ontario to a Chicago aquarium. It died shortly after the move. The move took place before the loss.
Marineland also relocated four dolphins and two belugas to an aquarium in Spain. Now the park has no dolphins left. Only belugas stay at the park.
The transfer left the grounds much quieter. Staff check water and health. Visitors notice a smaller number of animals. The park’s visitor count dropped.
The wooded surroundings remain the same. The water remains strong. The park keeps only a few belugas. Visitors notice fewer animal shows. The water remains clear.
