HBO Max has cancelled American Blue, a police procedural pilot featuring Milo Ventimiglia. The pilot will not proceed at HBO Max after being rejected by the network. The crime project is now being shopped to other buyers.
Variety shared the decision regarding the pilot. Forbes called the axed pilot as a series similar to The Pitt. Although the Milo Ventimiglia project is not advancing at HBO Max, it is actively being shopped to other networks.
