Nissan launched a recall for its X‑Trail SUV. The recall covers a fault in the steering column that could affect handling. A 2025 model in metallic grey is available online at about AU$45,000. The 2026 version features built‑in Google tech and an off‑road package. Auto Express reported that the upgrades appear subtle on the road. Nissan says spare components will be supplied free of charge.
The company rolled out the Tekton SUV aimed at India and Africa. Is set for production at Nissan’s Japanese plant for overseas sales for overseas markets. The debut in South Africa is due shortly.
