Penarth Vineyard is a small Welsh site where Bernard and Tanya Herbert brought vines to life in 1999. By 2001 all 10 acres were bearing fruit, with varieties including Madeleine Angevine plus Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay for sparkling wine. Due to lacking a winery, Three Choirs at Newent makes the wines. The vineyard’s status remains independent.
