SpaceX launched a Starlink mission in the early hours of Aug. 25. The rocket flew as planned. It was the 37th time for that Falcon booster, setting a new rocket reuse record. The flight represented the 100th Falcon 9 launch of 2026. Morning skywatchers expected to see a jellyfish effect high above. Spaceflight Now and Space broadcasted live coverage of the event.
SpaceX also planned to unveil its Louisiana plans on Aug. 25. Elsewhere, NASA placed its next star space telescope aboard a Falcon Heavy rocket. That launch is set for Aug. 30.
