Disney has postponed Star Wars: Starfighter and turned it into a 2027 TV pilot. Shawn Levy will helm the project, which is set to copy The Mandalorian's soft links with the Star Wars universe. Jonathan Tropper wrote the script and claims that fans will embrace the series once it arrives. Disney has also halted all new Star Wars streaming shows for a year, making room for this standalone series.
