Su-57D: Russia Says It Will Fly Combat AI - MiGFlug

Latest News About Russia plans combat AI for two-seat Su-57 fighter

Russia states that its two-seat Su-57 jet is set to feature combat artificial intelligence. Russia designated this new twin-seat version the Su-57D. Defense officials built the jet to counter Western fifth-generation fighters. Even so, the Russian fleet of Su-57 jets remains small.

Meanwhile, a small European country currently flies twice as many fifth-generation fighters as Russia. The gap in aircraft numbers remains despite Russian efforts to install combat AI technology into the Su-57D. Simple Flying and MiGFlug detailed the limited inventory in addition to the planned artificial intelligence features.
