The Citizenship Justice Party officially fired spokesperson Vijeta Dahiya on July 21 2026. CJP from the party the action was taken that day.

Videos showed him eating a burger and some biscuits while protesting.

Dahiya said he departed midway because he felt hungry.

Critics and commentators called this behaviour offensive and was seen as unacceptable.

The party declared the dismissal without delay.
