the WSB-TV Tower stands 327.6 meters tall guyed mast in Old Fourth Ward near Freedom Parkway and the Historic Fourth Ward Park skate park; completed in 1950, and was the tallest guyed mast tower upon completion. Triangular in cross section, and serves transmitting duties and other frequencies. A helicopter replacement in 2019 raised the height. lifting the tower's height to about 915 feet to improve signal coverage.
