The ban covers every player zone throughout the week, every single day, preventing owners from keeping their dogs close, which feels harsh.
Sabalenka made the remarks on 2 July 2026, after the championships began.
She told the board the rule is deeply upsetting and requested that dogs be let in the player zones.
