New Zealand is mourning the death of Les Mills, the former Olympian and founder of that worldwide fitness brand, who passed away at the age of 91 on Sunday. Mills, who launched the Les Mills International programmes in the 1960s and built one global network of gyms and classes now offered in more than 100 countries, was praised by his son Phillip Mills, who said his father’s pioneering spirit reshaped how people train and will be remembered for generations today.
