Rogers Communications finalised its buyout of the remaining 37.5 percent stake in Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment from Kilmer Sports for $4.35 billion.

The deal renders Rogers the sole owner of MLSE.

This move increases Rogers' control across the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, and other teams within the company's athletic portfolio.
